How this is measured
We take the median price of ready homes sold in each area over the last four quarters, for the bedroom count you pick. An area needs at least 30 sales to be ranked. Data checks
What this does not tell you
- Areas are cheaper for reasons: age, distance and size within the bedroom count. The median says what sold, not what a particular home is worth.
- 1 sale under 269 sqft a bedroom was left out of these prices. DLD records the sale of a share in a property that way.
- Off-plan sales are left out. They are prices for properties not yet built.
These figures describe registered sales and rents. They are not advice on what to buy or rent.
