How this is measured

We take the median yearly rent of new Ejari tenancies in each area over the last four complete quarters, for homes let as a flat, studio or villa. Renewals are left out. Contracts covering several properties or with an implausible floor area are left out and counted. Rent coverage

What this does not tell you

  • These are rents agreed on new tenancies. They are not asking rents on listing sites, and not what sitting tenants pay after a renewal.
  • Homes with the same bedroom count differ in size, so a lower rent can mean a smaller home.

These figures describe registered sales and rents. They are not advice on what to buy or rent.
